Having spent over 40 years going to sea and traveling around the world I have gotten to spend a lot of time in Naples and have sampled their varied cuisine many times over....never being disapointed. Never have I been disapointed in the house wines provided......amazing! Taking my wife there to sample the fine food and lovely area.
I heard the wine from Vesuvius is good...did I miss that on your show? I've been that area, but not in Naples. There is a funny movie made in Naples (Sophia Loren's first pic) It's in subtitles...she sells indiviual pizzas on the street in Naples with a peasant blouse on...she must be 16. She was a tough cookie. I saw it at MOMA/ Naples film festival in 1995(?)

I applaud you for profiling this great city with its less than great reputation. Ignored are the rich history and amazing cuisine. Geez, they spoke Greek until the 11th century. Keep up the good work.
